"I didn’t expect to struggle with my confidence as much as I did. The groups gave me space to ask the “silly” questions and feel supported instead of embarrassed. It made motherhood feel lighter."

"I truly wish I’d known about B3 earlier. The support, warmth, and honest conversations helped me feel like myself again — not just someone trying to survive the day."
B3 was founded by Nicole Lawal, a midwife, mother, and perinatal advocate who saw firsthand how often Black and mixed-heritage families were left unheard, unsupported, or navigating pregnancy and early parenthood alone.
Rather than waiting for systems to change from the inside, B3 was created to build something different: community-led, culturally grounded support that meets families with understanding, dignity, and care.
